WELCOME TO CLUB R19 :)
R19 is an events Club
for fundraising and to raise awareness about Cystic Fibrosis (CF)
which has been formed in honour of Raquel to help lessen the pain of CF for sufferers of the condition and those around them. This website highlights some of the events undertaken.
This isn't about sponsoring some future cure but about reducing risks of sufferers deteriorating by improving ground level stuff, quality of care and quality of life.

Some of the contributions as a result of our CF philanthropic projects are:
• Raising awareness through social media, newspapers, radio and television.
• Donations to the CF Trust in London.
• We supported a person with CF to realise her dream to live and work in the UK.
• R19 supported the production of a medical book for doctors about bronchoscopy, with
the pharmaceutical company GSK. Copies of the book have been sent out free nationally and internationally.

• Other projects are in the pipeline such as a comic and cartoon about a school pupil with CF.

R19 es un Club de eventos para recaudar fondos y concienciar sobre Fibrosis Quística (FQ)
fundado en honor a Raquel para ayudar a disminuir el dolor que ocasiona la FQ en los que la padecen y en quienes los rodean. Esta página web destaca algunos de los eventos realizados.
No se trata de patrocinar una cura futura, sino de mejorar la calidad de la atención recibida, otros aspectos básicos, y calidad de vida con el fin de reducir el riesgo de deterioro de las personas que sufren esta enfermedad.

Algunas contribuciones consiguidas a través de nuestros proyectos relacionados con fibrosis quística son:
• Concienciación a través de redes sociales, prensa, radio y televisión.
• Donaciones significantes a la Federación de Fibrosis Quística (CF Trust) en Londres para
mejorar la salud y vida de las personas con FQ.
